They have had a wild ride up and down the standings of the Eastern Conference's Atlantic Division since their conception in 1946. One of their top all-time players was Patrick Ewing who led the team to several playoffs but no NBA championships. Regardless of their fading imagine among fans, the Knicks regained international popularity in 2012 as a young player, Jeremy Lin became an unlikely hero - an era that will go down in history as "Linsanity."
